Durango to Thorp - Day 3

A VERY easy 300 miles or so to Prosser. Why didn't I just go to Thorp you ask? I don't want to back track. I'll be at the Harley shop when it opens. Nice RV park in Prosser from what I've seen - except for the pay showers! Free wifi, cable television, green grass. I've missed green grass more than I realized.

Wow great trip. I used to live in Colorado for 6 years before I headed back east. Durango was one of my favorite places. Living in Colorado was a great place to learn the art of the ride. Safe Journey!!

Prosser to Yakima to Thorp. Easy journey tomorrow. Take the Yakima River Road after leaving Yakima rather than the interstate it is much more enjoyable.

If you're staying at the RV park on Merlot Drive walk over to the Canyon Edge Winery outlet store and pick up a couple bottles. It is located right across the street from the truvk stop. Their sangiovese, malbec, and syrah are quite good and won't break the piggy bank.

I don't think I want to drive the motorhome and trailer on the river road. I've ridden it many times and it is beautiful.
I'm not a wine drinker, but I could pick some up for you - if you identified yourself.

It was just a suggestion as they make a pretty good finished product.

Enjoy your blog, keep after it.
