I just got off the phone with my sister in Tularosa, NM. They are fine. They say if wasn't a tornado that hit the village, it was darn close. Her fruit trees are ruined, the new fiberglass roof on the greenhouse got demolished by golf ball size hail. She says every mobile home in the area suffered some damage - windows blown out, skirting ripped away, etc. Numerous trees are down and they were without electrical power until 5 this morning. If I was a nice guy I'd go help them clean up, but Chris let me off the hook and told me to go enjoy my trip north.
Don says he's selling the house and moving to Seattle. Yeah, right.

I had no idea this was all happening and glad to hear they are all right. I am sitting here about to print your blog to mail to Chris, assuming she still doesn't check it at the library. I'm sending Don his b'day card but it will be late. B'day is Sunday, June 1st. 75 maybe??? Glad to hear you are doing well and on your way to some really, really beautiful country!

This time, for Chris, I printed down to "Latha maith dhuibh" which is evidently Scottish. I can't remember where I let off printing for her b-4. I also print for Mom and Pam.
Tom's blood pressure meds, lots, for his two abdominal aortic aneurysms have got him napping several times a day and he lost his get up and get. I'm hoping the cure will be available in the states by end of July so we can get past this. But we may have to go to jolly old England, the only place they're doing the new stent procedure. Otherwise surgery and 4 months recovery. Trying to not make much of it in front of Mom who is getting pretty nosy and I'm sure knows what's up better than all the rest of us!

I see where Harvey Korman died of a ruptured abdominal aortic anuerysm at 81. I had never heard of this before Tom got it. Take Tom to England. Meet up with Ronnie and Frank in Ireland.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm stents are done at Harrison in Bremerton. My dad had two done in one day, stayed overnight, walked out on his own legs and recovered in two weeks. They have about a six week to two month waiting list they accomplish so many.
